The Pensions Regulator

The Pensions Regulator is the UK regulator of work based pension schemes.  They aim the improve confidence in work-based pensions by protecting members benefits and encouraging high standards and good practice in running pension schemes.

 

Trustee Toolkit:

The Trustee Toolkit has been developed to help trustees meet the requirements for the code of practice on Trustee Knowledge and Understanding

Code of Practice 4 - Early Leavers - Reasonable Periods

Code of Practice 5 - Reporting late payment of contributions to occupational money purchase schemes

Code of Practice 6 - Reporting late payment of contributions to personal pensions

Code of Practice 7 - Trustee Knowledge and Understanding

Code of Practice 8 - MNT / MND - Putting arrangements in place

Code of Practice 9 - Internal Controls

Code of Practice 10 - Modification of subsisting rights 

Code of Practice 11 - Dispute Resolution - reasonable periods

 

NAPF (National Association of Pension Funds)

The NAPF is the leading voice of workplace pensions in the UK.  With over 1300 members, between them providing pensions to over 10 million working people combined assets in excess of £800 billion. 

 

PPF (Pension Protection Fund)

The PPF was established to pay compensation to members of eligible defined benefit pension schemes. 

 

The Pensions Ombudsman

The Ombudsman can investigate and decide complaints and disputes about the way that occupational and personal pension schemes are run. 

 

PMI (Pensions Management Institute)

The PMI is the professional body for those working in the field of pensions and employee benefits.  It establishes, maintains and improves professional standards in every area of pension scheme management, consultancy and trusteeship. 

 

The Pensions Advisory Service

An inderpendant non-profit organisation that provides free information, advice and guidance on the whole spectrum of pensions.
